Size: 10–22 lbs

Shedding: Light, Just because these pups are mixed with poodles does not automatically make them hypoallergenic! You might still experience very minor shedding. But generally, they are a better option for some individuals with allergies.

Barking: Low — generally quiet and well-mannered. Cavapoo’s are very sweet and easily adapt to their surroundings.

Experience Level: Excellent for first-time owners. Cavapoo’s are the perfect started breed for all kinds of people! 

Children: Excellent — gentle, affectionate, and family-friendly. 

Apartment Living: Very well-suited for apartment life, these pups do not require much physical activity aside from short walks and play time at home!

Other Pets: Excellent — typically gets along beautifully with other animals in the home.

Training: Easy — intelligent, eager to please, and quick to learn. 

Fun Facts! 🎉

• CavaPoo’s have Australian origins, they became an official hybrid there in the 1990’s.
•  While most come in solid colors like apricot or cream, some rare Cavapoos have a “spooky” color pattern called Phantom, featuring a black or brown base with tan markings on their eyebrows, muzzle, and chest.
• Cavapoos often keep their puppy-like appearance and playful energy well into their senior years, leading many to say they never truly “grow up”.
• CavaPoo’s are pretty famous- and we can’t even act surprised! Two celebrities who own them are Katy Perry, who travels with her Cavapoo “Butters,” and Sylvester Stallone, who frequently shares photos of his pet on Instagram
